Nextbit Robin, the Phone That Never Runs of Out Space, Now Available for Everyone

The world's first cloud-oriented smartphone, Nextbit Robin, is now available to the masses via Amazon with free one-day shipping for Prime members.

Robin is designed to streamline all the times you've tried to download an app or take a photo only to be hit by the "not enough space" notification. It moves data that goes unused for a long time up to the cloud, which you can re-download when needed again. MKBHD offers a solid breakdown:

Robin does come with 32 GB of on-board storage, so you aren't going back and forth all the time on the cloud, devouring your data plan. It runs on Android's Marshmallow (6.0.1), and recent software improvements have alleviated what users were disparaging as a slow camera.

The startup Nextbit funded its idea for a cloud-oriented phone through Kickstarter, and now you can get it SIM unlocked on Amazon for $399 with two color choices—mint and midnight. Nextbit also has Robin cases, though they're currently all out of stock.
